Humans are tool-making animals who immediately argue about whether the new tool is ruining society.
Let’s go all the way back – way back – to the first stone tools. Picture an early human picking up a rock, smashing it against another rock, and creating a sharp edge.
This was revolutionary. You could cut meat faster. You could scrape hides. You could dominate nature.
You could also absolutely imagine another human standing nearby saying:
“Oh great, now nobody knows how to use their hands anymore.”

Every major technological leap begins with three phases:

AI doesn’t end humanity’s story.

The Big Pattern Humans Will Miss at First
Across all these industries, the real integration isn’t replacement, it’s delegation.
Humans will stop doing tasks that require precision but not purpose. AI will handle the former. Humans will increasingly focus on the latter.
